It is couched in simple language, in order that parents of ordinary intelligence may apply it to their children. I have, for the past thirty years, engaged in adapting all the known and newly discovered facts revealed by the hand to the choosing of occupations for young children and those of college age; my zeal for this work having been greatly increased by the discoveries made by scientific men during the period, concerning the brain and its connection with the hand.
