About the Author
Jyotish Guru Prof. Rudra Prasanna Mohapatra (M.A., Ph.D., D.Litt.), is a Graduate in Indian Philosophy, Post Graduate in Indian Anthropology and Doctorate in Indian Astrology. He has honorary entitlements of Professor and D.Litt. in Astrology from Prixton Open University (USA). He is a Further Research member to Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS), International Astrology Federation (IAF), International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), All India Federation of Astrologer's Society (AIFAS) etc. He is a faculty to Viswa Veda Vidyapeedam International University and runs the centre at Odisha.

He was a Long-Term Volunteer at Isha Yoga Center (IYC), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu where he gathered fair knowledge on Rudraksha. He pays deep attention to use of Rudraksha in astrology and thus work under the title of "Rudraksh Jyotish". Prof. Mohapatra dedicated ample effort to astrological research and has published around 50 publications on various facets of Vedic Astrology in leading English Journals of AstroLogy like Modern Astrology, The Planets and Forecast, The Astrological eMagazine etc. Prior to Astrology, Prof. Mohapatra was a Freelance Anthropologist and served as consultant to government and non-government organisations. His earlier book "Rudraksha Jyotisha: A Treatese on Astrological Applications of Rudraksha" was unique of its kind. About the Book
This book is an anthology of essays on Medical Astrology and Sports astrology written by the author in various astrological magazines. Understanding both medical and sports astrology demand a sound knowledge of Human Biology for which this book is titled as Biological Astrology. The essays are very unique explaining the astrological descriptions of COVID 19 at one end and astrological combinations for a Boxer at the other. Hardly any book is available on sports astrology as it is an emerging discipline and demands more research. This book is just an attempt to ignite the research spirit among the astrologers.
