अंशात्मक ज्योतिष के सम्बन्ध में कुछ लिखने के पूर्व यह आवश्यक है कि पाठको को आरम्भिक ज्योतिष का ज्ञान संक्षेप में करा दिया जाय जिससे पुस्तक कि शेष सामग्री को समझने में सरलता हो I मनुष्य का जीवन ८४ लाख योनियो के बाद प्राप्त होता है I एक-एक क्षण अनमोल है I इसका उपयोग कर भगवत तत्व प्राप्त करना जीवन का उद्देश्य है I कर्म ही जीवन है I पृथ्वी लोक भोग - भूमि न होकर कर्म भूमि है I भारतीय दर्शन के अनुसार कर्म तीन प्रकार के है - १. संचित कर्म २. प्रारब्ध कर्म ३. क्रियामाण कर्म I वर्तमान तक किया गया कर्म संचित कहलाता है I यह एक प्रकार से बैंक में जमा राशि है I संचित से कुछ हितकर या अहितकर फल लेकर हम पैदा होते है जिसे प्रारब्ध कहा जाता है I वर्तमान जीवन में जो हम कर्म करते है वह क्रियामाण है I
यह पुस्तक इस बात को ध्यान से रखकर लिखी गयी है कि पाठकगण ज्योतिष से अनभिज्ञ है अत: एक अध्याय प्राम्भिक ज्योतिष का दिया गया है I सप्तम बिन्दु को ध्यान में रखकर भगवान् अनन्त के आत्यनितक अनुग्रह से ज्योतिष शास्त्र के प्रेमी पाठको के सामने यह नूतन रचना प्रस्तुत करते हुए मेझे अपार हर्ष हो रहा है I इसमें वर्गीय कुण्डलियो का विश्लेषण किया गया है तथा अनेक उदाहरण देकर वास्तु को सरल ढंग से समझाने का प्रयास किया गया है I
