ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sri H. Bhuthalingam (1928–2000), a retired officer of the State Bank of Travancore, was renowned across Trivandrum and beyond as a distinguished astrologer. Gifted with extraordinary intuition in horoscope reading, he became widely respected for offering precise predictions and compassionate guidance. Like his father, the late Sri B. Harihara Iyer of Nagercoil—himself a celebrated astrologer—Bhuthalingam treated astrology as a sacred calling, charging only a nominal fee and using his knowledge to help those in distress. Honoured with the title “Bhagya Vidmani” at the All India Astrological Conference in Cuttack, he was admired for simplifying complex principles of astrology for common readers while preserving its depth and spiritual essence. His legacy continues through his works, which remain a guiding light for students, practitioners, and seekers of astrological wisdom.
